Refund Policy

ZonedWeb provides real hosting and AI compute that are provisioned and billed as they're used. This policy explains how billing, cancellations, and refunds work — and how we keep it fair by letting you evaluate the full product for free first.

Because hosting and AI credits are real costs we incur the moment you use them, paid plans and consumed credits are generally non-refundable. Instead, our Free plan lets you build, preview, and test a complete site at no cost, so you only upgrade when you're sure — and your site is real WordPress you can export anytime, so you're never locked in.

1Our Approach

ZonedWeb is a hosting and AI service. When you subscribe, we immediately provision a live server for your site and make AI credits available for the builder — both of which carry real, ongoing third-party costs (compute and AI usage) that we cannot recover once consumed. For that reason, paid plans and used credits are generally non-refundable. We believe the fairest way to handle this is not a blanket money-back guarantee, but a genuinely capable free tier you can evaluate first.

2Try Free Before You Buy

Our Free plan lets you describe your business, have the AI build a complete real WordPress site, customize it, and preview it — at no cost and with no card required. This is your risk-free trial: you can see exactly what ZonedWeb produces before paying. Upgrade only when you're ready for a custom domain, more AI credits, backups, and the other paid features.

3Subscription Plans

  • Paid plans (Starter, Pro, Business) bill in advance and are non-refundable for the current billing period once it begins, because hosting and the period's included AI credits are provisioned immediately.
  • You can cancel anytime from your dashboard — you won't be charged again, and you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
  • We do not prorate or refund partial periods, except where required by law or as described in Sections 5–6.
  • After cancellation your site drops to Free-plan limits but stays live; export anything you want to keep.

4AI Credits & Top-Ups

  • Consumed AI credits are non-refundable — they represent real compute we have already paid our AI provider for on your behalf.
  • One-time credit top-up packs are non-refundable once purchased, like any consumable.
  • Included monthly credits do not roll over and have no cash value.

5When We Issue Refunds

We will promptly refund or credit you in these cases:

  • Billing errors — duplicate charges, an incorrect amount, or a charge after a confirmed cancellation.
  • Service failure on our side — if we materially fail to deliver the Service (for example, a prolonged outage caused by us), we'll make it right with a credit or refund.
  • Goodwill — we're reasonable people. If something went wrong, email us and we'll look at it case by case.

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days.

6Annual Plans

Annual plans are a committed term at a discounted rate. As a courtesy, if you cancel an annual plan within 14 days of the initial purchase and have made only minimal use of hosting and AI credits, we will refund the unused portion at our discretion. Beyond 14 days, or where significant resources have been used, the annual term is non-refundable except as set out in Section 5.

7Domains & Third-Party Services

Domain registrations and other third-party services purchased through ZonedWeb are non-refundable, as those fees pass through to the registrar or provider and are subject to their terms.

8Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first — we resolve the vast majority of issues quickly. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of the account while the dispute is reviewed.

9Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits rights you may have under mandatory consumer-protection law. Where a statutory cooling-off or withdrawal right applies, note that by starting to use a paid plan (provisioning your site and using AI credits) you request immediate performance and acknowledge that the right of withdrawal ends once the service has been fully used.

10Enterprise & Custom Agreements

Customers on enterprise or custom plans are governed by the refund and term provisions of their signed order form or agreement, which control over this policy where they differ. Contact us to discuss enterprise terms.
